We are pleased to confirm that this seasons Captains Charity Night, held on Saturday 24th February, raised an amazing total of £1,055 for St Wilfred’s Hospice. Pictured below are Bill Fuller and Anita Feltham, Men and Ladies Captains, with Kayleigh Tippett from St.Wilfreds.
As previously reported about 90 members and guests danced the night away with music provided by the local Beatles tribute band “Nothing is Real” who performed for free. The food was provided by the Social Team and the bar run by volunteers. A raffle was held with prizes donated by members and guests. The final dance number – Hey Jude – had everyone on the dance floor asking for an encore. A great night for a worthy cause.
