“Eastbourne Indoor Bowls Club had a very satisfactory weekend (11th & 12th November 2023) in National and County competitions.
In the 3rd round of the Mixed Fours Egham Trophy they beat Falaise 80-66 and in the next round will play the Isle of Wight on the 26th November.
In the Preliminary round of the National Over 50 Mens Triples the rink skipped by Rob Morphett secured a very convincing victory 21-2 over Langney Sports (A) who conceded after only 8 ends.
In the London & Southern Counties Mens Fours the rink skipped by Simon Perry beat Egerton Park (B) 16-13 and will play either Egerton Park (A) or Gullivers in the next round.
In the National Mens Fours the rink of Jack Wilson, Dave Payne, George Brown and Adrian Wainwright overcame a very strong Falaise rink 15-13 and will play another Eastbourne Four in the next round”.
